For the second day in a row, rock star Bruce Springsteen sang a few songs and urged thousands of potential voters in a battleground state to register and support Democrat Barack Obama.

Springsteen's free acoustic concert at Ohio State University in front of about 10,000 followed Saturday's performance in Philadelphia, where he called the Bush administration "a disaster." He repeated that comment Sunday, and indicated that Obama would lead an "American reclamation project" to restore the country's international reputation.

"Despite the terrible erosion to our standing in the world, we remain for many people a house of dreams," he said. "And 1,000 George Bushes and 1,000 Dick Cheneys will never be able to tear that house down."

Springsteen's appearance was aimed at encouraging Obama supporters to take advantage of Ohio's weeklong same-day voting period, in which state residents can register and cast an absentee ballot on the same day.

Absentee voting in Ohio began Tuesday. The state's voter registration deadline is Monday.

Springsteen performed "The Rising," a song regularly played at Obama rallies, and "Youngstown," his celebration of the working class in the northeast Ohio manufacturing city.

Springsteen was at Ohio State and in Cleveland during the 2004 presidential campaign, when he performed and appeared at rallies alongside then-Democratic nominee John Kerry.

Springsteen plans to play at an Obama gathering in Michigan on Monday. On Oct. 16, he will join Billy Joel at an Obama fundraiser in New York City.

Subject: WE ARE BEING INFILTRATED!!
Did anyone else watch Sean Hannity last night?
Each and every American needs to be discussing this with their fellow American. We are being infiltrated by Hamas and other radicals. Obama is the one they trained to do their bidding. First they used our own greedy leaders against us by infiltrating our economy- a big tall sign to that before the market crash was the bombing of the World Trade Centers- Are We Blind Here In America Or What?
Obama has to be exposed NOW!!
Let's get our country back, it will take each of us, not McCain-
YOU!
Tell everyone, and get Sean Hannity to air that show again and AGAIN!

IT GOES INTO 'ACORN'S' ROLE W/OBAMA, AND
HOW THE GOP GOT THAT FUNDING CUT FOR ACORN. IT IS JUST A "DEM SLUSH FUND" USED TO PANDER FOR VOTES FROM THE PEOPLE IT USES, TO THE INTIMADATING TACTICS USED TO BULLY FOR VOTES, ETC.
WE MUST GET THE WORD OUT TO EVERYONE WE CAN IN DEFEATING OBAMA WITH THESE SOCIALISTIC PLANNING FOR OUR COUNTRY.

Ok John let's say it is true
Except the charges against him in the Keating scandal were dropped. The link to mediamatters (re. Liddy), is a radical leftist web site, so I am sure the story is twisted at best. Your link to the NYT article (indian gambling) is not cited, so I am not counting that as quite true. Then the stuff about the Iran Contra was tried in court and exposed. So that does not hold water.

So if any of that is even partially true, who has the more shady past? Most of Obama's connections have not been given the light of a trial or investigation, McCain's have. We are all aware of what happened.

Obama, on the other hand, has hidden or dismissed the truth. Even his supporters turn a blind eye. Let's put these two experiences of a shady past and see who the evedince weighs heavier beyond a reasonable doubt their ties to terrorism and radical group involvement. My choice is clear.

We Can Make a Bigger Difference. Please be sure to get out and vote. McCain/Palin gets my vote. God Bless America.
